  1. How do I know if my company is eligible to hire foreign workers?

    To be eligible for temporary or permanent foreign worker immigration programs, most employers and managers must demonstrate through a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)., that they have taken the necessary steps to hire local workers a priori, but that their efforts have proved unsuccessful. This step may take 3 to 4 months from the date of receipt.

    Companies that obtain LMIA approval are eligible to hire foreign workers. Note that some business lines or organizations may be exempt from applying for an LMIA.

  2. Does Quebec’s DJP Immigration Services recruit foreign workers?

    At Quebec’s DJP Immigration Services, we do not recruit candidates internationally. However, we do offer suggestions for lists of resumes of workers that can meet the needs of your business.

  3. How do I know if a foreign worker is eligible to work in Canada?

    To immigrate temporarily or permanently to Canada, a foreign worker must obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (QAC) and a valid work permit. It must also meet certain eligibility criteria established by the Canadian and Quebec governments.

  4. How do I proceed with permanent immigration of one of my foreign workers?

    Our role here is to help the employer submit an application for validation of a permanent job offer to increase the foreign worker’s chances of being selected as a permanent resident by the Government of Quebec. On the other hand, we support the foreign worker in their application for permanent residence through our personal services.
